  • The Band Sunago

    Greek for “To gather together”

Sunago is a band of musicians whose ambition is to bring an element of joy to people's lives through music and lyric. The very meaning of the name Sunago encompasses the definition: “to bring together those who were once separated, to hospitably entertain.” In a world filled with political and pandemic division, our goal is to bring people together to enjoy an evening filled with inspirational music and positive lyrics. Our purpose is to fund a much bigger vision and mission of the non profit Warm Blankets through the generous hearts of those who give to Sunago.

  • Warm Blanket Bundles

Cancer patients are cold…always! And any cancer survivor will tell you all about the side effects of treatment. Everything from nausea, dry flakey skin, chapped lips, loss of hair and dry mouth. Most Chemotherapies destroy soft tissue starting in the mouth and going all the way south! Needless to say, battling cancer is, at the very least, uncomfortable. When things are uncomfortable and there are no more words…nothing gives comfort to a cancer patient like a Warm Blanket. So, that’s the first thing you will see in a Warm Blanket Bundle…a nice super soft, fuzzy warm blanket. We also include other universal comforts like tea, warm drink gift cards, all natural skincare and lip balms, rice sock warmers, journals, beanies, fuzzy socks just to name few. The things we take for granted are the things that can get a cancer patient through a very rough day.

  • Grief Support

Grief is not an illness, a disorder or a disease that needs to be cured. It is the normal and natural response to loss. Dora Carpenter, author of “From Grief to Gratitude” states, “Statistics show that it can take 5-8 years to recover from a devastating loss...I say that with proper tools, education, and support, one can move from pain to peace, heartbreak to happiness and grief to gratitude in the shortest time possible.”

We live in a grief avoidant culture that diminishes the discussion of traumatic loss and grief. The topic is the ELEPHANT in the room, leaving the grieving individual feeling isolated. If you are tired of feeling alone in your grief, and you desire support to move forward, reach out to Jim.
